As we are all aware, Time Warner's actions have greatly reduced our television viewing choices. NBC local, NBC sports LA, and according to this mornings Sun, paper, there will also be a problem with CBS LA. Has anyone talked with the HOA regarding our options? We are presently paying a premium price for a limited access to viewing options. Any ideas? Gene Lewis, 246 SBC 760 346 9977.
Gene,
ReplyDeleteyours is the only comments so far. I expect this will get more attention as people realize whats happening. The silence from the HOA on the TWC situation is deafening.

I likewise called TW and got a we're so sorry, but. I called Joe Gibbs at the Mgt. office to ask them what they are doing, since it effects everyone. In short, and not unexpected, they are doing nothing. I think we should all ask for a rebate of our monthly cable fees. I don't know what can be done, but I plan on keeping the pressure on TW and Albert Mgt. gene
FYI
Gene & Bobbi,
ReplyDeleteI have also checked with Joe. Dana is on vacation and it appears the board has not anything so far. We have lost NBC, Showtime and apparently will lose CBS, this is not inconsequential.
The contract with TWC expires around Sep 2014 and the HOA must indicate tat they will or will not renew six months prior or around Mar 2014.
This would seem to be another appropriate area of homeowner awareness & discussion as to homeowner preferences for TWC or other vender bulk services prior to the end of the year.
